Hierarchies Descriptions: Location

The location hierarchy in my game will consist of 2 rooms.  The two rooms will be almost identical.  I may end up putting in slightly different graphics, but that is purely cosmetic.  The main properties of the location hierarchy will include boundaries so that the main character and enemies don’t walk out of the screen and information regarding which characters and objects are present in the room.

            I will use x and y coordinates to determine the boundaries of the room and will include code that will determine whether or not the main character or an enemy has reached those boundaries. The only action that will effect this hierarchy will be the unlocking of the door after the main character has acquired the key.  After the unlocking action has occurred it will queue the loading of the second room.
